Air Ambulance startup in Pakistan

A new startup air Ambulance service has started in Karachi. Air Ambulance Pakistan uses single Cessna 402C Utiliner/Businessliner to provide air ambulance facilities. The service providers claim  that their aircraft is equipped with necessary Medical Equipment and trained Paramedic Staff operating all over Pakistan.

The aircraft used for this service is AP-BHS that was built in 1981 and records shows its previous owners were in South Africa. The current owner according to all Pakistan aircraft registration is Star Aviation.

Although the service claims that its a first private Air Ambulance service in Pakistan is not right. But Edhi foundation has been using air ambulance with its aircrafts from last many years. Edhi initially had an Aero Commander 680FL for its air ambulance service that was used by various government departments before Mr. Edhi got it. Then Edhi foundation used a Cessna 402 B for its air ambulance service. Edhi foundation also used a Bell 206B-3 JetRanger III for air ambulance services.

In 2008 similar claims were made by Princely Air Ambulance that they will be Pakistan’’s first privately operated air ambulance operation. They primarily used

Air Ambulance Pakistan’s aircraft is equipped with necessary Medical Equipment and trained Paramedic Staff and will be providing services across Pakistan.
