Airlines shifting to new Islamabad International Airport from 20 April

The New Islamabad International Airport is coming to life as airlines have started putting together their schedules from the new airport. As expected and given that it will serve as a hub for Pakistan International Airlines the first commercial flight to land at the new international airport will be PK-300 from Karachi at 10 am. This will officially open the new airport for business and then slowly the airport will come to life.

Then the first departure for PIA PK-701 to Manchester will be at 3PM. The last PIA flight from Benazir Bhutto International Airport will be PK-785 to London Heathrow and the last arrival will be PK-608 from Gilgit at 9.50 AM.

On the other hand, international airlines serving Pakistan have started announcing their move and Saudia Arabian Airlines will operate two flights on 20 April. Flight SV 724, SV 723, SV 727 and SV 722 on Jeddah Islamabad route.

Emirates airlines have notified that all Emirates flights after from 21st April will be operated from the Islamabad International Airport. Emirates said in a statement that flights to Islamabad will operate from the new Islamabad International Airport on 21 April 2018, starting with EK614 arrival and EK615 departure.
