Man arrested by police for flying a self made plane

A young Pakistani was arrested by the police on Monday who made a plane and allegedly performing or attempting to perform test flights. He introduced himself as Fayyaz, a resident of 32/SP.

A young Pakistani was arrested by the police on Monday who made a plane and allegedly performing or attempting to perform test flights. He introduced himself as Fayyaz, a resident of 32/SP. According to the FIR, the police got information that a man had made a plane and flying it in Chak 50/SP. It was also informed the man is showing stunts during the flight. Fayaz was apprehended for building an aircraft without a ‘permit’ and ‘performing aerobatics’ in the makeshift flying machine.

Fayaz is a matriculation student, who was about to ‘fly’ his device in the fields of village Muhammad Nagar of Arifwala. Fayaz claimed to have sold part of land he inherited and invested the money into developing a flying machine.

Fayaz was planning to test his plane in the presence of hundreds of villagers gathered someone informed Rang Shah police who cordoned off the fields and stopped Fayaz. Witnesses said police carried the machine in a tractor trolley and took it to the police station along with Fayaz.

Fayyaz was later produced before a local court where he was fined Rs3000 and released on bail.
