One of PIA’s ATR aircrafts is cleared after shakedown tests and is deployed on its key routes of Gilgit and Chitral after a break of few days. PIA in a statement said that one of its ATR 42 aircraft has been cleared in shakedown test. This aircraft is currently running PIA’s operation to Gilgit and Chitral.
Earlier PIA received a C130 from Pakistan airforce to resume flights to Gilgit that were suspended for few days after PIA grounded all of its ATR fleet for inspections. PIA is expected to get more ATR aircrafts cleared in coming days and its socio economic routes will gradually return to normal.
