Despite the chaos, its business on schedule for Pakistani airlines

While the whole country was in a state of chaos since the operation was launched against protestors at Faizabad Pakistani aviation was unusually on track. PIA implemented advance planning to ensure on-time departures of their flights while other airlines went on to accommodate the late arrivals by delaying their flights where possible or adjusting the passengers accordingly.Airlines adjusted crew reporting times and passenger were facilitated through the call centre. Serene Air accommodated its crew at airport hotels as and when needed and PIA gave ample time to the crew to report.  On Saturday PIA, Serene, Airblue and Shaheen’s flight operation remained normal on most of the stations.

On PIA schedule there were no cancellations of flights. Due traffic jams in various cities the reporting remained little slow both on passenger and crew side. However, due to better planning by flight operations, marketing and passenger handling and technical ground support departments etc, the operation continued without any hurdle. Some minor delays within the range of 15min to 30 min were witnessed in certain flights across all airlines.

All the airlines are urging their passengers to ensure they consider the traffic jams and disruptions before they depart from home and reach airport as early as possible.
