Omani airline Salam Air adds Multan as 3rd destination in Pakistan

Salam Air, Omani budget airline has started operations to its 3rd destination in Pakistan on February 8, 2018. The inaugural flight from Muscat took off at 23:55 and in Multan at 3:30. The return flight departed from Multan at 4:50, and arrived back in Muscat at 6:35. Multan will complement the airline’s current flights to Sialkot and Karachi.

Addition of Salam air will bring in healthy competition on Muscat-Multan route as Shaheen Air operates on this route currently. SalamAir will now have nine out of a total 67 weekly flights between Pakistan and Oman. With Oman Air operating 30 flights while SalamAir operates 9 flights, Pakistan International Airline operates 16 flights, Shaheen Air operates 10, and Air Blue operates 2 flights.
