A bridge collapsed at Islamabad International Airport injuring one

An Airbridge at Islamabad International Airport (IIA) collapsed on Monday injuring an operator of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). It happened when the Gulf Airline’s flight GF771, heading from Islamabad to Manama, Bahrain, disengaged with the airbridge and began to taxi when the bridge collapsed.

The bridge operator name has been shared as Mohammad Mudassir whose legs were broken in this incident. The flight continued safely towards it destination from gate number 5.
