Airblue and Serene Air to operate special repartition flights to UAE

Airblue is inducting two new aircraft into its fleet.

Pakistan’s 2nd largest airline Airblue will be operating special flights to the United Arab Emirates. Serene Air who recently got permission to operate international flights will also operate special flights. This will be a good option for Pakistanis stranded in UAE to come back to Pakistan.

Airblue is operating 6 special repartition flight from 1st July. The details are as follow. Today Airblue will be operating 3 special flights.

3rd July: PA6301 AUH 23:45 PEW 04:05

On the other hand, Serene Air will operate its first chartered repatriation flight from Sharjah to Karachi today. The flight will be taking 122 passengers from Sharjah to Karachi. The airline plans to operate more chartered flights to Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Multan. The airline has said that people who are interested to go back to Pakistan can book their tickets at Al Ghazi Travel in Dubai. Serene Air has already planned to start regular flights to UAE but due to COVID19, the plans were delayed.

Mandatory COVID-19 tests

The government has already announced that Pakistani passengers coming to the country on repatriation flights would not have to undergo COVID-19 tests if they do not show any symptoms. All arriving passengers pass through thermal scanners and only those who are symptomatic are tested for COVID-19 while the rest of them are allowed to go home after an undertaking of self-quarantine at home for 14 days.
