Indian Airline GoAir’s flight makes emergency landing at Karachi International Airport

An Indian aircraft of GoAir carrying 197 passengers made an emergency landing at the Jinnah International Airport in Karachi due to a medical emergency on board. According to airport sources, a passenger’s health deteriorated during the flight G8- 6658A and the flight’s captain decided to make an emergency landing at Karachi airport. The flight was on its way to Delhi from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The sources claim that the passenger, 30-year-old Muhammad Noushad, had a cardiac arrest on the flight and the Air Traffic Control called Airport doctor who immediately reached at bay no 22. But the passenger was pronounced dead after doctors checked him. The sources further claimed the passenger died before the plane landed.

Later, the plane was refuelled and it departed for its final destination, Delhi. Indian media claims that the deceased passenger was a resident of Bareilly, a city in Uttar Pradesh.
