British flag carrier British Airways has moved its London to Islamabad flights from Heathrow to Gatwick Airport. This move is part of wide ranging changes to the shcedule of BA where it has cut quite a few flights from its Heathrow base and moved flights to Islamabad and Accra, Ghana to Gatwick airport. British Airways will start its London Gatwick to Islamabad flights from 28 March 2021. The flights will be operated from South terminal of Gatwick airport.

The flight BA2261 will depart from Gatwick at 1030 and will arrive at 2220 at Islamabad 6 days a week. Return flight will be BA2260 departing from Islamabad at 0020 and arriiving early morning at 0505 Gawick on Monday, Tuesday, Wednessday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. BA’s final London Heathrow to Islamabad flight will depart from 27 March 2021.
At the same time “British Airways appear to have cut several long haul London Heathrow routes in Summer 2021 including its flights to Lahore that were started on 13. This is off course subject to change.
Lahore was BA’s second destination in Pakistan. BA currently offers four flight per week on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday between Lahore and Heathrow. The flights are operated by a three-class Boeing 787 Dreamliner with World Traveller (long-haul economy), World Traveller Plus (long-haul premium economy) and Club World (long-haul business class) departing from Heathrow Terminal 5, landing into Lahore’s International Airport.
