PIA Engineering & Maintenance completes C check on Pakistan Navy’s ATR

Pakistan International Airlines Engineering & Maintenance Division has successfully carried out major maintenance check ‘1-C’ of Pakistan Navy’s ATR 72 aircraft at Islamabad airport. This major maintenance check was completed with the extensive expertise of PIA’s engineers who worked with full dedication to perform this C Check within the projected time and the aircraft rolled out with no defects.

PIA Engineering is performing all major overhaul checks of the entire Pakistan Navy ATRs fleet that consists of 3 ATR 72-500 aircrafts. Pakistan navy uses these aircrafts for transportation of navy personnel/cargo items and also for maritime patrol missions.

These aircrafts are have Pakistan Navy serial numbers 77, 78 and 79. Serial number 78 has construction number 808 and it was built in 2008, serial number 78 construction number is 712 and it was built in 2004 while serial number 79 has construction number 788 and it was built in 2008.

PIA Engineering aims to expand its maintenance capabilities which will allow it to cater all aircraft models operating in Pakistan and become a leading maintenance services provider in Pakistan as well as in the entire region.

Currently, PIA Engineering is providing maintenance services to major regional operators like Qatar Airways, Saudi Arabian Airlines, Oman Air, Fly Dubai & Gulf Air.

پی آئی اے کے شعبہ انجینئر نگ نے پاکستان نیوی کے ATR 72 طیارے کا کامیابی سے بڑا چیک سی اسلام آباد ائر پورٹ پر موجود سہولت میں مکمل کر لیا۔
اس سلسلے میں پی آئی اے انجینئرز نے اپنی مہارت کا بھرپور مظاہرہ کرتے ہوئے مقررہ وقت میں یہ چیک مکمل کیا اور طیارہ دوبارہ پاکستان نیوی کے حوالے کر دیا گیا۔
پی آئی اے کا شعبہ انجینئرنگ پاکستان نیوی کے بیڑے میں شامل تمام ATR طیاروں کو اووہالنگ کی سہولت فراہم کر رہا ہے۔
پی آئی اے کا شعبۂ انجینئرنگ اپنی استعداد کار میں اضافہ کر کے پاکستان میں استعمال ہونے والے تمام اقسام کے طیاروں کو یہ سہولت فراہم کرنے کا عزم رکھتا ہے۔ اس استعداد کے حصول سے نہ صرف پاکستان بلکہ اس خطے میں نمایاں مقام حاصل کرنے کا خواہاں ہے۔
اس وقت پی آئی اے قطر ائر ویز، سعودی عیریبین ائر لائن ، اومان ائر، فلائی دبئی اور گلف ائر کو انجیبئرنگ کی سہولیات فراہم کر رہا ہے۔
