The officials of UK border agency on October 21st, 2017, searched PIA’s aircraft after it landed at Birmingham on flight PK791 from Islamabad. The aircraft was a Boeing 777-300(ER) registration AP-BHV. Surprisingly there is deafening silence on this matter on media. And the reason is clear as the story is not spicy enough to carry.

The flight left Islamabad at 11:54 PST (06:54 GMT), 54 minutes late. After an uneventful flight, it landed at 16:08 local time. After landing, before cleaning and catering could commence, 8 to 10 UKBA officers boarded the aircraft and conducted their search, opening panels in search for suspicious items.

However, nothing was found. The aircraft was cleared at 17:05 local time, after a search for approximately 1 hour. The flight left at 18:42 Local Time, after approximately 80 minutes delay as the scheduled departure time is 17:25.

Because it was a false tipoff that’s why no one in media is loosing their mind for this news stories. But the credit goes to PIA management who have seriously clamped down on drugs. But when the same PIA management will start taking their honour and pride seriously and report and take up this matter with UK authorities?
