The United States Aviation regulators The Federal Aviation Administration’s on Monday downgraded the safety ranking of Pakistan’s civilian airline system. In a way effectively blocking any Pakistani airline from adding flights to the United States.
The U.S. Transportation Department earlier this month separately notified PIA it was halting all operations as a result of the scandal. The European Aviation Safety Agency has already banned PIA from operating flights to Europe.
