Pakistani youngest airline Air Sial operated its first international flight today as a special charter to Dubai from Lahore. Flight PF7172 took off from Lahore at 19:17 local time and landed at Dubai International Airport at 21:40 local time. Air Sial used its Airbus A320-233 registration AP-BOB for this flight. Air Sial just celebrated its first year of operation on 25th December and according to latest aviation policy straight away jumped onto this opportunity of first international flight. Previously Serene Air had to wait for two year before it could start international flights.
Air Sial rightfully thanked the very kind PCAA who have graciously pulled all the stops for this flight. Something unprecedented in the past. The post on Sial Facebook page wrote “we are grateful to the Aviation Division along with the entire Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan for their immense support. Also we would like to thank and Congratulate the Directors, Shareholders and the business community of Sialkot including the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce on this auspicious occasion”.
The post also mentioned that “this is a stepping stone towards our international operations coming soon in 2022”.
