Pakistan’s largest private airline Airblue that recently received its brand new Airbus A321 NEO (New Engine Offer) directly from Airbus deployed the aircraft to commercial operations. The first Airbus A321neo registered as AP-BOE operated its first commercial flight as PA-204 from Karachi to Islamabad. Airblue received the first Airbus A321 on 16th October and after ground tests and other formalities, it finally deployed the plane to flight operations.

On the other hand, the airline is on a massive recruitment drive where it recently advertised it is looking for captains and first officers as well as ground staff. The airline website also shows flights to Istanbul but there is no date announced by the airline yet. Recently it decided to start flight to Ras Al Khaimah from Multan and increased capacity on several other routes.
