New flights to Uganda, Iraq, Sudan, Kuwait, and China to bring stranded Pakistanis

According to the latest flight schedule shared by the government of Pakistan, more flights are added to the already existing schedule to bring back Pakistanis. There is a second flight from Sudan to Peshawar on 16 May operated by PIA. Flydubai or maybe some other airline will operate a flight from Uganda to Lahore on 16 May. PIA will also operate a flight between Jakarta and Islamabad on 19 May. There is a flight from Shanghai to Karachi operated by PIA on 20 May. PIA will operate 2 Airbus A320 flights between Kuwait and Multan on 19 May. On 20 May Kuwait Airways will operate a flight between Kuwait and Lahore. PIA has also scheduled a flight from Madina to Karachi on 16 May. A Malaysian airline will bring 250 prisoners from Malaysia on 17 May.

Also for the first time flights will be bringing passengers from Canada to Lahore on 15 May. There will be flights from the United States of America, Manchester in the UK, Wuhan and Shanghai in China. According to the latest update, Pakistan International Airlines will operate special flights to Sydney, New York, Iraq. PIA and some other airlines have already operated some of these flights.

Previously PIA operated flights to Canada and UK but it was not bringing back Pakistanis. Now there is a flight added from Canada, three flights from the UK, and 3 from the United States. PIA will operate a flight from Toronto to Lahore on 15 May. PIA will operate two flights from London Heathrow. One to Lahore on 10th May and second to Islamabad on 14 May. A flight from Manchester to Lahore will be operated on 19 May.

According to the plan following flights will be operated.

  • Shanghai, China to Karachi by PIA.
  • Kuwait to Lahore by Kuwait Airways, bringing detainees.
  • Saudi Arabia to Multan by Saudi Arabia airlines.

Flights on 14 May

  • London, the UK to Islamabad by PIA
  • Paris, France to Islamabad by PIA
  • UAE to Faisalabad by PIA
  • Washington, the USA to Karachi by PIA
  • Doha to Peshawar by PIA
  • UAE to Multan by UAE airline
  • Riyadh to Lahore by PIA

Flights on 15 May

  • Muscat, Oman to Karachi by PIA
  • Muscat, Oman to Multan by PIA
  • Toronto, Canada to Lahore by PIA
  • UAE to Faisalabad by PIA

Flights on 16 May

  • Iraq to Karachi by PIA
  • Uganda to Lahore by PIA
  • Khartoum to Peshawar by PIA
  • UAE to Multan by UAE Airline
    Muscat Oman to Lahore by PIA
  • Madina to Karachi by PIA

Flights on 17 May

  • Malaysia to Lahore by Malaysian Airlines bringing detainees.
  • Saudi Arabia to Peshawar by Saudi Airlines.

Flights on 18 May

  • Wuhan, China to Islamabad by PIA.
  • New York to Lahore by PIA.
  • Doha to Karachi by Qatar Airways
  • Doha to Multan by Qatar Airways
  • Jeddah to Faisalabad by PIA
  • UAE to Peshawar by PIA

Flights on 19 May

  • UAE to Karachi by UAE airline
  • Manchester, UK to Lahore by PIA
  • UAE to Lahore by PIA
  • Doha to Peshawar by PIA
  • Kuwait to Multan by PIA
  • Jakarta, Indonesia to Islamabad by PIA

Flights on 20 May

  • Shanghai, China to Karachi by PIA.
  • Kuwait to Lahore by Kuwait Airways, bringing detainees.
  • Saudi Arabia to Multan by Saudi Arabia airlines.

Flights on 21 May

  • UAE to Faislabad by PIA.
  • Qatar to Peshawar by PIA
  • Oman to Lahore by PIA
  • Dammam to Islamabad by PIA
  • UAE to Karachi by UAE airline
  • Doha, Qatar to Karachi by Qatar Airways that is open to all passengers from anywhere in the world who can book with Qatar Airways.

There are no flights planned for 6th May. At the same time, the government of Pakistan has indicated prices for the sectors PIA is operating flights. So according to this fare for UAE to Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar are 1110 AED. UAE to Karachi fares are 81 AED and to Multan 957 AED. Turkey to Pakistan fares is 63000 rupees and Pakistan to Toronto fares are 2,67,000 rupees. Pakistan to UK fares is 1,17,000 rupees while the UK to Pakistan fares is 1,29,000 rupees.

Pakistan International Airlines has already operated special flights to Khartoum, Nairobi, Jeddah, Oman, Amsterdam, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Melbourne, Trabzon, Istanbul, Almaty, Frankfurt, Baghdad, Paris, Oslo, Copenhagen, Tokyo, Dushanbe, Bangkok, Hong Kong, and UAE.

The spokesperson of PIA has urged all passengers to immediately contact Pakistani embassies or high commissions and register with them. So when there is a flight planned the embassy and high commission can call and sort out the ticketing.
