The Shaheen acting CEO says "this airline will be run by Kashif and Ehsan. They have the money and they want to work."

Sindh High Court Justice Muhammad Junaid Ghaffar has adjourned the hearing of Civil Aviation Authority’s petition against Shaheen Air International till 4th April 2019. The case number 1950/2018 was on the cause list for today. A message from Shaheen’s management received by Pakistan aviation states “hearing of SAI case in High court took place today. The final decision is expected on 4th March 2019. Management of SAI is very much hopeful of getting a decision in favour of SAI.” The airline is fighting a petition filed by civil aviation authority that is seeking liquidation of the airline in lieu of its pending dues. The last two hearings were adjourned after the court ran out of time.

Previously the acting CEO Javed Sehbai sent out a message saying that “Inshallah, Allah will show mercy” and urged his employees to not “give up yet, in any case as we are all in this together.”

Sindh High court record shows the case details.

Most importantly he said that the owners of Shaheen “Kashif and Ehsan will run this airline. They are arranging for money. And people will find out about it soon.”

He also said that Kashif and Ehsan “have money and they are willing to work. Just bear with us courageously.” While this is an upbeat message from the beleaguered man who is left to clean up by the owners who are hiding abroad. On the other hand, the employees are impatient as they have been hearing the same messages from past many months where things have gone from bad to worse.
